Child's play III
I saw you, once, in one of my endless dreams. You were dancing in the pale moonlight, out there in the cold night.
It seemed to me like I knew you already, recognizíng those shiny green eyes. All alone, captured in my bad dreams I was craving for your companionship
My hair got dark with grief over the years and my heart's mantle became as mouldered as these walls I've been living in on my own.
The only harbourage for a child's sore soul.
And so I got out of bed, heading bare-footed down the empty, desolated halls just to get a glimpse of you. But as I reached the garden
you had gone and just a slight laughter hung in the night beneath the whispering trees.
